Ahad Raza Mir is a Canadian Pakistani actor, director and playwright. Mir was born in Karachi, Pakistan and spent much of his early life in Canada. Born into a family of performers he is the third generation in the industry. His Father is well-known Pakistani actor and producer Asif Raza Mir and his Grandfather was pioneer Pakistani film director and producer Raza Mir. Having grown up around the stage and set his passion is deep rooted.
After receiving his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama at the University of Calgary he began his career as a stage actor, performing in several shows with numerous companies and directors. In addition to acting he has both directed and written for the stage. Raised in both Canada and Pakistan he brings both western and eastern influences to his work and speaks both English and Urdu fluently.
