In this rendition of West Side Story Mir played the lead role of Tony. A dream role for Ahad as Tony is often casted as a white male, this role allowed Mir to break what audiences perception were of famous stage characters. West Side Story was also Mir’s return to musical theatre after a period of almost four years.
